Our dog Sep was scratching constantly and had a flaky coat, so we looked for a probiotic to help manage those issues naturally. After some searching, we found two brands that looked promising: DogSuppy and NutriPaw. Our personal experience

We used NutriPaw first. After 1 month, our dog began scratching even more. It was also a bit of a hassle to disguise the chews each time in cheese or ham to make it easier for him.

We used DogSuppy next. After a month, Sep’s scratching had reduced but not completely. The yeast in his ears and paws also reduced, and his coat was looking shinier. After seeing the improvement, we persisted for another month. After 2 months of taking DogSuppy, Sep stopped scratching completely, and his ears were clean.

We documented this with before-and-after photos:

Conclusion

Both products are made using completely natural ingredients, and we had positive experiences with the customer service of both companies.

At first glance, the two brands appear very similar in terms of their products and overall offering. However, we believe the key difference for Sep came down to the production process. Probiotics are live bacteria and cannot survive high temperatures. Knowing that DogSuppy takes particular care in how their chews are produced, we decided to give them a try after NutriPaw. And the results speak for themselves.

In addition, DogSuppy provides a higher probiotic culture count, uses strains that are backed by published scientific studies, and is transparent about this information on their website. On both Trustpilot and Amazon, DogSuppy also holds higher customer ratings.

That said, if you’re specifically looking for a subscription option so you don’t have to remember to reorder every month, NutriPaw may be the better choice for you.
